Turkey: Strategy for business development in the beef cattle industry

The agricultural industry in Turkey is developing rapidly. Zenovar studied the various agricultural sectors in Turkey and identified several key business issues to develop and profitable sectors to promote.

The commercial and regulatory environment in Turkey encourages agricultural development. The government offers incentives for agricultural development in high-priority areas, and the increase in quality of life has resulted in growing demand for fresh produce and high-quality processed products. Zenovar analyzed the various agricultural sectors in Turkey, the related post-harvest sectors, inputs, and institutional and logistical infrastructure. The analysis showed that the beef cattle and meat processing industries are those best suited for development, and a business plan was drafted accordingly.
