Turkey: Strategy for business development in the beef cattle industry

The commercial and regulatory environment in Turkey encourages agricultural development. The government offers incentives for agricultural development in high-priority areas, and the increase in quality of life has resulted in growing demand for fresh produce and high-quality processed products. Zenovar analyzed the various agricultural sectors in Turkey, the related post-harvest sectors, inputs, and institutional and logistical infrastructure. The analysis showed that the beef cattle and meat processing industries are those best suited for development, and a business plan was drafted accordingly.
